Dream Come True Over 5,000 people entered the dream crop event contest. But only one person could win (and 99 of her friends, of course). The morning of April 16th finally arrived and we drew the name. What a surprise to pick Marcy Vincent from Bay City, Michigan because our very own Helen and Donna were at a Scrapbooking convention in Michigan that weekend. |

| We called up our team and told them the winner. They checked around to see if anyone at the show knew of her. And sure enough, one of the local storeowners did and thought she might be at the show that day. Marcy’s friend found her and told her to come to the Scrapbooking.com booth where Helen surprised her with the news. She was so excited that tears of joy were streaming down her face! She had met with some resistance just in getting to the GLMM that day. She immediately got on the phone and called her family to let them know just how worthwhile it was to come. Our team announced the winner on the loud speaker and cheers were heard throughout the hall. Marcy is one of the Michigan Scrapper’s (an online list group), and many of her Internet buddies were there. Our congratulations go out to Marcy and we are all looking forward to throwing her, and her friends, the best scrapbooking party in her honor on National Scrapbook Day, May 6th. | |||||||||||||||||
