This was done with a digital camera, and when the copies were made, the photo was resized and copied to get the identical photos on the side. Since this was all done in black and white, I followed the same idea with the color of cardstock and used black, gray and white. The sun and the surf were torn and the photos were mounted on white. The photos were dramatic enough that the journaling was kept very simple.
