Border Bound - Week 2

These hand cut and penned flowers were inspired from an auction that I saw and I can't remember where or who had created them (I apologize). However, I loved them and had to incorporate a similar design into my own layouts. The best thing to do for these flowers is to create a template. Draw one on cardstock and cut it out. Add the pen line and swirl and see how you like it. If it doesn't look quite right, trace that flower and make adjustments where you think they are needed. It is kind of like drawing a freehand star (which I cannot do). A flower is a little more forgiving. After you have created the one that looks best, trace a bunch on the backside of some patterned paper and cut out. I like to mix patterns to create a more interesting look.
