Creative Lettering is not my thing. I have been accused of writing in reformed Egyptian (as Bonny would say). However, I can spice up my titles if I am careful. Here is a quick and easy way to improve your own lettering. Round up a bunch of your small stamps. If you don't have any and you are considering trying this, invest in a star or heart that can be versatile for several themes. 

The first step is to decide what your layout theme is and next what your title will say. Whatever the title is, try and match a stamp to it. For instance, "Cute as a Bee" would use a bee stamp and "Snow Day" would use a snowflake. There are so many possibilities.

The second step is to pencil in your title. Once you have determined the letter spacing and the style, you can lightly pencil it in. 

The third step is the stamping part. Grab your stamp and somewhere along the penciled line, stamp the image. If you are working with a horizontal stamp, try and pick a straight line on the letter. Be careful that your stamp isn't too big so that you lose sight of the letter.

The fourth step is to use a black or colored pen and go over your pencil line. Don't draw your letter line straight through the stamped image. Stop at the stamped image and then start again on the other side of the image. Once you have completed this step, erase the pencil lines and color in with whatever medium will work best. 

Anything goes with this lettering style. Page titles can make or break a layout. Give your layouts a little more life with this quick and easy lettering idea.
