As a seasoned scrapbooker, I have always looked for ways to have variety in my layouts. However, I am also fairly tight on my budget. I never bought punches because that wasn’t where I wanted to be spending my money. So when I took a class at my local scrapbook store, I tried to resist purchasing the punches involved. However, after a little arm twisting, I bought my first 3 punches – all circles! I bought the medium and small circles by Marvy and the large circle by Family Treasures. |

I have to admit that I have never regretted it. I absolutely love my basic punches! I now have a whole storage box full, but I still consider myself tight. I will only buy the ones that I think will be well used. I still haven’t developed the ability to see the individual parts of the punch designs that can be used to make components for a new finished design, but as I practice and study other people’s work, I hope to develop that ability. |

As much as I hate to admit it, punching is a lot of fun. But be careful – this can be addicting! |
