As the holidays
approach, my to do list seems to be getting longer rather than shorter. I've got
decorations to put up, gifts to buy, food to prepare, parties to attend and
cards to send out in addition to my normal list of "chores." I always try to
squeeze in a little "me time," and the best way I know how is through crafting.
This week our newsletter features articles and layouts that will help you create

on your favorite carols and get ready to wrap, layouts that is! While you shop
for gift wrap and trim this year, don’t forget to pick up a few extra goodies to
use on your layouts. Gift tags make wonderful accents, ribbons can dress up a
page, and even the wrapping paper itself can be used for a great background. In
addition, check out package adornments for even more embellishment ideas. If you
use items such as these on your layouts, make sure to use a de-acidification
spray to protect your photographs.

Kids are a great help with holiday decorations - enjoy a quiet afternoon of
family crafting. Get out some cardstock, patterned papers, stickers and your
scraps. You can make "Countdown Chains", Paper Snowflakes, Ornaments and more.
It's a fun and easy way to get festive.
