Welcome from the Editor

I have to tell you, my goal this holiday season is to stay organized! I've spent some time this week deciding which side dishes I'll be bringing to my family dinner on Thanksgiving and even making a few recipe cards to share. My shopping list is ready to go and while I know I'm on top of things, I still feel frazzled. To me, the best stress reliever is crafting. It's definitely time to pull out my supplies and create some pages. If you have time, create a layout about a special event or day from this year and enter our layout contest.

Happy Scrapping!

Food Layout Contest Winner

It’s amazing how food can provide just the comfort we need after a busy week A simple cup of coffee can not only make woes vanish but can surprisingly make a great scrapbook layout. Karen Huntoon captured one of her most special moments with food on a Saturday morning. She used a photo of her cappuccino and pastry and wrote her thoughts accenting some words with stickers for emphasis. Remember any of life’s simple moments like Karen with photos and scrapbook layouts.

Using Multiple Pictures

Are the leaves falling all around you? Well, if they are, then I’m sure the giggles are too as everyone enjoys the crunching leaves piled high all around. Every year, I like to take pictures of my kids jumping into piles of leaves. It’s great to see how much they’ve grown each year! I have so many fall pictures that sometimes it’s almost impossible to choose just one or two for a layout. That’s why I pull out my adhesives and use lots of pictures to capture fall memories in colorful layouts.
