Welcome from the Editor

I have to tell you, the smells coming from my kitchen over the weekend were heavenly! Holiday baking is one of my favorite fall traditions and this year has been no exception. One thing has changed this year though, I've decided to record my memories of this simple tradition. From the recipes to the eaters of the goods, I've got photos and now pages of these precious times. Make sure you keep your camera handy in the kitchen this week so that you too can record the memories and traditions of Thanksgiving.

Happy Scrapping and Happy Eating!

Thanksgiving Layouts

I absolutely love this time of year! The chill in the air lets me know that the holidays are right around the corner and that means lots of good food and recipes to share. Every Thanksgiving growing up, I loved to walk around the house smelling the wonderful aroma of turkey, dressing, pies and bread – all of the stuff you looked forward to since the last November. Now I try to give those same memories to my family each year, making sure to take pictures, pull out my Thanksgiving embellishments and design memorable scrapbook layouts that everyone will enjoy just as much as the food.

Season of Thanksgiving

Being blessed with family and friends to love is something I am thankful for every day of my life. I see my children growing, my husband and I growing older and hopefully wiser, my friendships becoming stronger and everything around me changing. Sometimes these changes are wonderful and sometimes they’re hard to swallow but one thing is for sure, I am blessed to have them and blessed to be able to scrapbook my life as it is.
