Welcome from the Editor

Now that the hustle of Thanksgiving is over, I have to spend some serious time devoted to finishing up my holiday cards. I've learned over the years that the best way to accomplish my goal without feeling overwhelmed is to complete my cards bit by bit, just a few cards at a time. Spend some time this week, just a few minutes, tackling part of your holiday cards. Divide the tasks and complete them one at a time. Address envelopes today, go to the post office on Friday or order stamps online to avoid long lines, then sign and address the cards while you curl up and watch a movie with the family. You'll be done before you know it!

Happy Scrapping!

Cookbookin' Memories - Half Hour Pages

When my family gathers, food is always an important part of the occasion. We celebrate birthdays with my mother’s famous chocolate cherry cake. We ring in the New Year with Grandma Rose’s noodle pudding and apple cake with honey sauce. We grieve together while sharing platters of fish and bagels with home made peach jam. Food, family and memories are firmly linked.

It always eases my mind and gives me an escape from all of the holiday craziness. If I can only steal twenty minutes away to my craft room, it’s enough sometimes to relieve some stress.

Give Up the Dig-n-Search

The challenges of scrapbook supply organization are many, but perhaps the biggest challenge is finding something you know you’ve got. Even in a well organized space, it can be difficult to put your hands on something quickly.
