Welcome from the Editor

It's November already and I have to say I'm beginning to daydream about Thanksgiving supper. It's always quite a feast, and while the food is good, the stories that come from a family meal are always that much better. Spend some time this month thinking about your Thanksgiving traditions and about past holidays. If you don't already, create a journal or scrapbook specifically for this time of year. Record what you and your family are thankful for, and don't forget to jot down those unforgettable family memories.

Happy Scrapping!

Ever since I had to do that, whenever I see pictures of my nieces and nephews that make me laugh I think, “They should use that when they are seniors in high school!”

Hand Written Family Memories

Thanksgiving is a time for expressing gratitude. Mine is boundless. I am grateful for family and friends, for freedom, for food and shelter, the blessings of eyesight and mobility, and for the amazing legacy that has been handed to me in the form of letters, recipes, and other hand written family memories.
