Welcome from the Editor

Take pictures as you take part in these traditions and make scrapbook pages for your posterity. Be sure to include details, like rules for a game, or a recipe for grandma's famous sugar cookies. Happy Hanukkah, Merry Christmas and Happy Kwanzaa to all of our readers worldwide!

Year in Review Contest Winner!

As you look back at the year that has so quickly passed us by, it is wonderful to see all of the memorable times we have had with our family and to see how much they have changed over the course of a single year. Stephanie Ackerman did just that as she documented 2006. She cut photos in a variety of shapes and sizes to show her family’s year in review.

Cookbookin' Family Recipe Calendar

Recipe calendars are easy to make and a fun memento. There’s no rule that January has to be the first month or that a calendar has to be only twelve months long, either! Assign a month to each person or family group. Send out the recipe cards well ahead of time, or spend time during the holidays filling them in while everyone is together.

Take Control of Your Fibers!

Do you sometimes find that you don’t make full use of your Fiber collection because it’s too time consuming to find the perfect color, untangle the knots, iron out the fold marks or locate that matching collection? A good simple Fiber organization system can provide you the visibility you love and the accessibility you need to get the best and the most out of your Fiber collection.
