Scrapbooking.com Magazine recently formed charitable relationships with the Alzheimer’s Association and the Autism Society of America. We feel that these two groups best represent a population that medically benefits from scrapbooking. Many families of patients with Alzheimer's use scrapbooks to help their loved ones remember special moments and personal history. Autistic children often retain more when using pictures and scrapbooks as teaching aids.
To promote these organizations and to raise awareness, Scrapbooking.com Magazine would like to publish your stories. If you, or someone you know has experienced how scrapbooking has improved the life of individuals with these diagnoses, please write to us. We are looking for heart warming stories, layouts and albums pertaining to Alzheimer's or Autism. Please contact me to share your experiences and give hope to others.

Spooky Halloween Contest Winner

"I remember this particular Halloween very well because everything was last minute and I didn’t own a camera. This picture is the only good one I have of that day. We went last minute to the pumpkin patch and then came home to make up quick costumes from whatever we could find. It was really a great first Halloween in our new home and now it will be eight Halloweens that will have come and gone."

Altered Deck of Cards

Article 2 image

"We don’t often talk about double-sided tape in the scrapbook world but it’s not as taboo as you think, if you know which to use. I thought it would be a fun idea to alter a deck of cards as a celebration of women and create a card box using cardstock and double-sided tape. I started with important women as my theme then just continued with women stamps, but you could create cards for family, friends or whoever you want."
