Blog of the Week:

Carla Schenk:
"My blog is just a simple way of demonstrating what you can do with paper or with your computer. I like to share my ideas with other people so that's why I have some freebies now and then. It can be a digital layout, a tutorial and in the future, I plan to put some free Cricut design files on my blog."

Tip of the Week Featured Product Layout Contest
product

"Before you mat your photograph, you need to choose a color to enhance the subject in the picture. Select a solid color cardstock or a very simple pattern paper so it does not compete with the photograph. You can choose to take colors from the photograph or take colors from the pattern paper you want to use in the layout. If your photos are black and white, a monochromatic scheme will work well."

Every scrapbook tells a story. Memories of friends, family . . . and murder?Mousy housewife Kiki Lowenstein has two great loves: scrapbooking and her young daughter, Anya. But her happy family album is ruined when her husband, George, is found  dead in a hotel room. As Kiki tracks down George's murderer, she discovers his sordid secret life. This book includes expert scrapbooking tips and techniques, and a coupon for free Snapfish photos!

Grab your videos cameras and let’s see what you’ve got! The topic is scrapbooking, of course, and should be an easy target for some hilarious parodies. Who says scrappers are a snore? If you’re willing to laugh at yourself, we want you to participate. Write a script, a song, or opt for an impromptu in front of the camera. Whatever!! It’s your shtick, go out into the world and document the silly side of scrapbooking. Click here for how to enter. . .
