Diana Gibbs: "My blog is about my passion for rubber stamping with a little bit of my crazy life thrown in there too. It is a way for me to stay in contact with my family and friends, as well as all the new friends I have met since I started my blog. I am able to share what I am doing in classes, as well as show some new tutorials that people may not have seen before, or might have forgotten about. I love the world of blogging, and I love reading the comments that people leave on my blog."

Welcome from the Editor

Jami pictureScrapbooking.com Magazine has formed charitable relationships with the Alzheimer’s Association and the Autism Society of America. We feel that these two groups best represent a population that medically benefits from scrapbooking. Many families of patients with Alzheimer's use scrapbooks to help their loved ones remember special moments and personal history. Autistic children often retain more when using pictures and scrapbooks as teaching aids.
To promote these organizations and to raise awareness, Scrapbooking.com Magazine would like to publish your stories. If you or someone you know has experienced how scrapbooking has improved the life of individuals with these diagnoses, please write to us. We are looking for heart warming stories, layouts and albums pertaining to Alzheimer's or Autism. Please contact me to share your experiences and give hope to others.

"Title pages can be used so many places in your scrapbooks. I personally like to have a title page for each new area in a book. This is the best way to use several pictures on the same great page. Look closer: this isn't just a lay over mosaic, Valerie cut the pictures herself. This is a nice tribute to a wonderful gardening husband and his green thumb."

The new Glue Glider Pro from Glue Arts allows you to apply a neat ¼” strip of adhesive exactly where you want it. The easy glide-on dispensing action allows you to apply a small controlled amount or a continuous line of the best performing and most permanent adhesive ever offered. The easy slip-in, disposable cartridges eliminate the worry of having to reload in the middle of a project. No mess, no fuss.

Grab your video cameras and let’s see what you’ve got! The topic is scrapbooking, of course, and should be an easy target for some hilarious parodies. Who says scrappers are a snore? If you’re willing to laugh at yourself, we want you to participate. It’s your shtick, go out into the world and document the silly side of scrapbooking.  Click for details on how to enter.
