Welcome from the Editor

Jami pictureDecember is the month for giving. I wanted to remind everyone about Brody Chapman. This 12 year old has taken it upon himself to put together scrapbooking kits to send out to all the kids in the area with cancer. Since we first told you about this story last year, Brody has reached out to kids across the globe. He has traveled as far away as Hawaii to bring joy to other children with cancer. Read more about Brody's story and get information on donating by clicking here.

Tip of the Week Featured Product Layout Contest
tip of the week product contest

"December is a great month! Free scrapbook ideas are delivered to your mailbox all month long, by way of holiday cards! Since I believe that everything around us is inspiration for a scrapbook page, it seems natural to take card ideas and turn them into layouts. As a general rule, transferring ideas from cards is simple, if you don't try to replicate the cards too closely. The focus is to take just one or two ideas from the card that can help in your layout design."

Serif’s Digital Scrapbook Artist offers a unique combination of ease-of-use, traditional scrapbooking techniques, and truly realistic-looking results. Now you can quickly and easily transform your photos and memories into wonderfully personal artwork that you will cherish forever. Suitable for all scrapbookers, novice to expert. Incredibly easy to use, fun and fast. Unlimited creativity for unique designs to share with family and friends.

The closing of 2008 is drawing near. It's time to take stock of all the events you've experienced in the past year. Celebrate the milestones by creating a layout that represents the "year in review". Use this time before the holiday rush to reflect and create. Submit the results for a chance to win great prizes from top manufacturers. Click for details on how to enter.

Winter Holidays
article 1

And the Grinch, with his Grinch-feet ice cold in the snow, stood puzzling and puzzling, how could it be so? It came without ribbons. It came without tags. It came without packages, boxes or bags. And he puzzled and puzzled 'till his puzzler was sore. Then the Grinch thought of something he hadn't before. What if Christmas, he thought, doesn't come from a store. What if Christmas, perhaps, means a little bit more.
