blog

Laura Bray: "My blog is my online creativity journal. It’s an outlet for me to share photos of my latest projects and artwork, write about my life and my creative process and even discuss the art of doing business. I describe my creative style as “Elegant Whimsy” and I believe my blog reflects that-it’s all about living elegantly, but keeping a sense of humor along the way."

tip of the week product contest

"Artist Trading Cards are small works of art that are becoming a big hit with stamping and collage artists alike. The one rule is the size of the card. Each card should measure three and a half by two and a half inches, the size of traditional trading cards. Ten card bases can be cut from one piece of 8 1/2" x 11" cardstock. Each Artist Trading Card is an original work of art. Anyone can make Artist Trading Cards. There are no restrictions when it comes to materials."

Festive Pasta Box House and Christmas Queen
article 1

"Christmas is probably the best time of the year to display our festive accessories and decorations. Many of us enjoy making our own every season and even giving them as gifts to loved ones. Recycling should be a very important factor when deciding on the materials we will be using. If we look around our homes, there are many, many things that can be recycled and “re-made” into something fun. Along with your leftover trimmings and paper scraps from the craft room, check the pantry or recycling bin for supplies. For example, pasta is one of the most common foods in any household. Who doesn’t eat pasta? Have you ever thought making a little house out of a pasta box? Well you will with this fun project!"

Stamping 101 – Beginners Guide to Stamps
Article 2 image

"When I first started scrapbooking in 2003 I was definitely a paper crafter. I came from a design background and wasn’t really interested in stamping. Over the years I have turned a complete 180 and now prefer using stamps for many reasons, the main reason being that they are much more economical. Appeal to my frugal nature and you have my vote! Yes, stamping has an initial outlay but then what hobby doesn’t? You really only need a couple of basic supplies to get started: stamps, ink and stamp cleaner. This article will focus on the stamps!"
