Blog of the Week:
Amy Coon: "I use my blog as a personal
journal of my paperlife for others to read
what I am doing or creating at the moment. I
have a passion for this hobby and want to
share my love for it through my blog. I
think everyone should have their own "paperlives"
that they nurture, create, and celebrate and
my blog helps me to do just that."

It’s officially fall and time to start thinking
about what to wear for Halloween. Since this is my
favorite “holiday”, I love to decorate, plan parties
and of course come up with an elaborate costume.
Maybe you could use a few ideas for your own
celebrations, if so, you’ve come to the right place.
Our October issue is filled with spooky goodness
that won’t scare your wallet. For inspiration from
invitations to table decorations, check out our
video demo for step-by-step directions on how to
be the craftiest hostess on the block!
Aymee Gandy,
Leslie Prinkki and
Suzanne Sergi round out the party planning
committee and our theme ladies of the layouts can be
found
right here.

"Pumpkin Patches are
the perfect
location for photos. Being outside, all the
colors, the children running and laughing and, of
course, the bright orange pumpkins. Don't forget to
check that your film speed is made for sunshiny
days." |

"Halloween is a holiday that I love, but at the same
time seem to have a very hard time scrapping. This usually
stems from loving all of the very cool Halloween themed
products out there, but having kids who pick costumes that
just don't 'go'. My solution for this layout was to focus on
my son’s fascination with the glowing Jack-o'-Lantern. It
reflects the feeling of Halloween, without focusing on the
costumes. Best of all, it only took about 5 minutes!"

"Did you know that one in
seven women are affected by breast cancer? Every
three minutes a woman is diagnosed with breast
cancer. Look around the coffee shop you’re in
tomorrow morning and figure that statistic out for
yourself. Don’t want to keep hoping for a cure? Then
do something for the good of your fellow human
beings and get involved in finding the cure! A super
fun way to do just that is to join Ever After
Scrapbook’s SURVIVOR CROP 2009 taking place on
October 17-18, 2009."
