"If you’re giving treats this Halloween, how about getting prepared ahead of time. If you’re like me you have 2 separate bowls of candy for the trick-or-treaters, one for big kids and one for little kids (no gum). But for parties and gatherings I prefer to make party favor bags and boxes."

Boo To You Halloween line from My Mind's Eye is perfect for all your party decorations and papercraft projects. The complete line has coordinating papers, brads, chipboard, ribbon and stickers - everything one needs for a frightful and delightful Halloween evening - just add candy!

Recycled Magazine Art
Article 2 image

"Ever lay in bed, trying to fall asleep and an art project starts swirling around the ol' cerebral cortex? It does with me all the time! I woke up this morning and decided to act on it. I grabbed several magazines from my stash and began punching out colorful little 1½ -inch squares! I made sure to look for the rainbow colors (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and purple) and unobstructed images. I laid them out, rearranged them, adhered them, rearranged some more and framed it! Instant burst of happy, rainbow-y goodness in about an hour!"
