Welcome from the Editor

So maybe Halloween isn’t your thing, but we can certainly all appreciate the beauty of autumn and the change of season. You might be interested in seeing how other artists interpreted this challenge, Fall Celebrations. New to the magazine this year is Me, Myself & I. This popular category will definitely be returning next year. I was glad to see so many artists have the ability to turn inward and reflect upon their own lives. So often we are focused on documenting others, we sometimes forget to honor ourselves. But this month is all about you and the remarkable talent you share.

"Fall is my favorite time of year, especially celebrating Halloween! I love hosting our yearly neighborhood Halloween party and making treats for our little one’s teachers. Having to buy for three teachers, I’m always looking for inexpensive items I can alter. Halloween Treat Pails were my solution to a quick and easy Halloween gift."

Made of 100-percent cotton laminated fabric, this craft tote bag offers a convenient way to transport projects--anything from knitting or scrapbook pages to a memoir for a book group or writing workshop. Anna Griffin fabric accessories are limited edition, mix-and-match designer collections designed expressly to add beauty and charm to contemporary living.

The time of year has come when we’re reminded to look around and think about all of the things we’re grateful for. Take this opportunity to scrap the blessings of your life and share them with Scrapbooking.com Magazine readers. Click here for more information on how to enter. . .

Pinpoint Glue in a Pen
Article 2 image

Putting glue on paper is a synch! It’s as easy as signing your name. Quickie Glue writes like a pen and leaves glue exactly where you need it.

Precise placement even for the teeniest, tiniest glitter. You’re in control. Lay down a smooth 0.7 mm line width with no spreading. Easily draw flowers or scallop patterns, polka dots and hearts – all with no globbing!

Can’t decide where to place an item? While the glue is white, move items around. For a permanent bond, wait for the glue to turn blue, and then secure the items together.

6 Facts About Me
Article 2 image

"Honestly, how often do you scrap about yourself? How many layouts do you have about you, about yourself now, your likes and dislikes, your feelings and your own thoughts? I know we all get caught up scrapbooking our children, our pets, our family and we don’t realize that we don’t scrap about us! So this is a prompt from me, a tutorial to document fun facts about yourselves, while using those glimmer mists and gesso you keep looking at and hesitate to use!"
