For years now, you have
read about them, tried to find them and wanted to use them – Pebbles
Tracers from Pebbles In My Pocket. Not available to all areas of the
country, they have become a favorite prize to take home to desperate
friends after traveling to Utah and Las Vegas. Pebbles fans, you’re in luck!
Created by Pebbles Inc.
especially for EK Success - ABC Tracers! Once you use them, you’ll find
out why they’re so popular. These templates are easy to use and the
creative things you can do with them are limitless. You can trace and
color, cut out, layer, add stickers, crimp, tear, emboss, sponge…the
possibilities are limitless! Be creative! Use them over and over! Each new techniques
brings a totally different look to your lettering.
There is also a "must have"
ABC Tracers Tip Book. Full of fantastic ideas, it will teach you the
basics of using a template, how to trace, cut and design your own neat
ideas. Here are a few hints with visual aids.
1. Try to always trace the
letters backwards, on the wrong side of the paper. After you cut, this
will eliminate the need to erase any pencil marks.

2. If you want to cut out
the small inside parts of the letter, you can do this by cutting straight
through. Once you glue it down, you won’t see the cut.

3. You can layer more that
one color or pattern of paper. You can ripple the edge, use pinking
shears, or tear the letters out. Just place one on top of the other, along
one edge. (You may need to trace on the top of this one so you can see
where the ripple is going.)

These and many more ideas
are in the idea book. If you are concerned that this lettering project is
too hard or overwhelming, don’t be. You can simply trace the outline in
pencil, go over it with black or whatever color marker you choose, and
then fill in the blank with pen, colored pencils, chalk, etc., for an
easy, but effective lettering look.
The templates are available
in: Block Upper, Block Lower, Dot Upper, Dot Lower, Log Cabin and Funky.
