Pockets on pages are very popular. You can use a pocket for things such as journaling, extra photos or additional embellishments. You can make your own pockets with a sewing machine or just cut them from your clothing. The next layout uses a pocket cut from a pair of jeans.
Flowers are very versatile and can be used for layouts of any season. Cutting them from fabric allows for an unending amount of color and style variations. Simply draw a flower on the back of the fabric and cut out the shape. You can layer more than one for a different look. The last layout shows a basic flower shape attached with a brad in the center.
So don’t be afraid to grab a handful of fabric scraps and try to find a way to use them in your scrapbooks. A little material can go a long way and the choices in fabric are enormous.
