Do you have a lot of very cool computer fonts that you don't use? I do. Hundreds! Either I am not where the computer is when I create a title, or I want to use paper that won't go through my printer, or it just isn't convenient to trek to the computer.

I created an alphabet template that matched a set of sticker letters. First I created a table in Microsoft Word that was 8 cells across and 33 down. Then I typed a capitol letter in each of the first cells. There should be 5 of each vowel (A, E, I, O, U) and 3 of each other letter. You can take an old sheet of stickers and follow that particular configuration. Then do the same with the lower case letters. The cells can be finished with numerals and punctuation of your choice.

When I want a font to use at a crop, or just to keep on file, I bring up that document, select all, raise the size of the font to the size I want, the color I want, and the font I want. Then I print out the sheets. Color can be varied, also.

Then when you use the font for a title you can cut each square you will use, matte it with another color, and use as you would a sticker, or a punched letter. I keep a few sheets of my favorite fonts in a notebook so I don't have to interrupt my scrapping to print out a title.

Here is the file as I created it using Ariel Black font at size 12 in green.
