Once you have become comfortable with the holly in place of the loops you will be ready to go further. When I do fall layouts I like to add oak leaves and acorns.

Again, until you are well practiced with the script, you might want to write the words carefully on scrap paper (I use computer paper) with a lined sheet underneath. A light box helps. Then erase the loops and add the leaves and acorns. Then trace the one with leaves and acorns using a bullet-point pen for the letters and a fine-point pen for the leaves and acorns.

The scribble line or vine embellishments are similar to ones I learned in classes by Suzi Ratto author of Color Layering System of brush stroke lettering.
