The World Wide Web has so much information available at just the click of a button. It's amazing how much you can see and do without leaving your home!! Of course, without a doubt, for the latest and greatest, scrapbooking.com can meet your needs. You can shop, get the best ideas, and find instructions for the latest techniques and how to use the latest products. You can get help with a title or a format on a layout you are working on in just minutes.

I have even met some of my very best friends online. They are all scrapbookers so I thought it would be fun to ask them how the Internet has helped their scrapbooking. The number one contribution was the constant source for free ideas. They don't have to buy the latest edition of any one magazine when they can get it free with instructions on how to do it online. The Internet is a wonderful source for poems, quotes, titles and FONTS!! If you use your computer for editing your layouts or your titles then these are all fantastic additions.

One other favorite of my scrapbooking buddies is submitting to online contests, sharing their layouts with other scrapbookers. The best encouragement a scrapbooker can receive is compliments from OTHER scrapbookers. Swaps with your Internet scrapbooking buddies are an awesome way to get new ideas. Getting involved in monthly challenges gives you the incentive to always strive to improve your own talent, deadlines do that too... Our Local scrapbooking stores are a wonderful resource for supplies and classes, but for people who live out of the way of the larger stores, the supplies are limited. Online is the easiest way to stay on top of the current trends and to learn how to do them. I did a layout below that was with pleated paper. This is a technique I learned online and had to play around with myself. I hope you like the effect. I guess, in closing, for me... one of the greatest assets to the internet are my friends. I've met the best scrapbooking buddies online, we now meet whenever we travel to that part of the world, we are even gathering for retreats now. If you're not sure what I mean, scrapbooking.com has message boards that are for scrapbookers to help and answer questions, and to develop into friendships. Yahoo groups are awesome for this too and there are other message boards on the net that have a genuine feeling of friendship. Lets face it, other scrapbookers are the best source for scrapbooking. To see what other people are doing encourages us to do our best work! It is so much fun to see your layouts that you share with us.
