What do you think of when the word "Sweethearts" comes to mind? Youth? Bride and Groom? School children? Maybe a pair of movie stars?
Take a look at some older "Sweethearts" and you might be pleasantly surprised. Look for sweethearts in old family photos. If that doesn't bring on a smile then you need to look a little more closely at the faces. Think about scrapping these sweethearts separately from the other photos taken at the same time. If there is a story you know, then tell it.
Heritage
Here is a chance to really have fun with borders. Heritage snapshots lend themselves to multiple mattes. Make your own lace or use paper lace and doilies.
Modern Seniors
For more modern couples you can have more fun with color and embellishments. In this one from Florida I actually put some little shells in the gold bag. For scanning purposes, I had to remove the shells from the bag.
