Last month I explained my reason for concentrating on layouts of adults in various situations.

"Most of my scrapping friends and I have been told by others, "Oh, I would love to make scrapbooks, but I don't have any children."

"This series of articles is meant to encourage those who have no children in the family, or those who have neglected the adult part of their lives for too long. Although we have had no babies in my family for 22 years, we do have 4 avid scrapbookers. I will be sharing some of our scrapbook layout topics with you this year."

Winter and spring vacations are usually difficult for families because they must take the youngsters out of school. This, then, is a great time for adults to take vacations without children. We are going to look at some travel layouts with adults. I hope you will find some surprises if you thought scrapbooking vacations was only for photos of children.

Disneyworld & Disneyland

You may be surprised to see that I started with Disney Vacations. In our circle of friends and family, adult trips to Disney World are not at all uncommon. Here, Jeanne and Jeff chose Disney World as their honeymoon destination. Jeanne used the same primary colors and motifs for her layouts as she would for a child's scrapbook.

Day-Trip Get-Aways

If there are school children, a vacation of a week or ten days may not be possible for parents. There are still trips of less than a day adults can find. You just do not want to forget your camera. Whether it is a day or a month, the trip deserves to be scrapped.

We have a famous Tulip Festival in Michigan that attracts groups from churches, communities, even families. Private cars, buses, and vans replace planes, ships, and trains as transportation.

In this layout I tried to use the multi-colors of spring tulips as my color choices.
