Deluxe Designs has incorporated embellishment templates in their Pages by Design Layout Design System to rescue us from an embellishment rut. This System includes layout templates to help you create a pleasing layout overall and templates to help you create tags, flowers, file folders, and much more. In this layout, both the tag and flower embellishments are made using the Design System. The tags are traced and cut from cardstock then inked and distressed. Rub-ons are added to the tags to incorporate journaling and sentiment to the layout. The flowers are traced and cut from pieces of denim then attached to the tags. Notice how colorful buttons are added to the center of the flowers and patterned ribbon tied to the tags for color and texture contrast.
