Supplies:
- 8 ½” x 9” solid color cardstock
- 8 ½” x 11” text weight paper cut into quarters
- Cardstock School Daze Stickers (Bo Bunny Press)
- Scissors
- Ruler
- Pencil
- Stylus
- Bone folder
- Designer Dries Clear Glue (Art Institute)
- Self-Adhesive Magnet Strip
Step one is to measure 2” in from the 9” edges of the cardstock and score a line. Fold the scores to create a nice crease and unfold for the next step.
Measure 1” and 1 ½” in from the 8 ½” edges of the cardstock, score the lines and fold and unfold like before.
Cut corners along the 2” creased line. This part can be confusing so follow the photos to better see how it is done.
Fold the center sections of the 9” edges towards the center.
On each of the corner flaps, measure ½” out from the fold, score a line and fold. This will create the tabs that will secure the pockets of the memo holder.
Turn the memo holder over and glue tabs to the back.
Decorate it with stickers and fill with the quarter-cut paper. You can use solid color paper or a light colored patterned paper to fill the holder.
I used school themed stickers for this memo holder but have also used other themed stickers for various gifts. Once you have made one, you’ll see that this is an easy to make gift that can be personalized and given for any special occasion.
