A fun day in the snow with lots of snowballs is a winter memory many of us love to scrapbook. This layout plays on a snow theme with a snowflake stamped background, a completed stamped snowman and large snowballs for a snowman in the making. To make any background paper match the theme you are working with, stamp a pattern randomly on the paper with Versamark ink or a matching ink as was done here with the snowflake.
Even the photos and journaling are cut in circles like snowballs. A few snowflakes have been stamped on white cardstock and cut out as though the snow were falling around the playing child.
The magic winter brings deserves to be captured in a scrapbook layout. This 8” x 8” Stampin’ Up layout is the perfect size to start a small album or to put in a frame for hanging and displaying. I like how the blocks of cardstock are cut slightly uneven to create a quilt like affect and how parts of the layout have been sewn together. For an even more dramatic affect, three of the letters in “snow” are embossed with Crystal Clear embossing powder which adds dimension to the stamped title.

This tag is cut with a tag corner punch or, if you don’t have the punch use a pre-cut tag. A small piece of Certain Celery cardstock is sewn directly to the tag to add a splash of color. The greeting is made from a Circle of Friendship stamp and a bright yellow star added to the middle with both attached with dimensional adhesive. Any candle in any color will look great with a hand made tag.
