It all started over a year ago with a belief in giving back to the community and supporting the mission of the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The Make-A-Wish Foundation® is an organization whose mission is to grant wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions and enrich their lives with hope, strength and joy.
Since Scrapbook Adhesives began, they have been donating $.04 of every product sold to the Foundation and given product to Make-A-Wish chapters across the country to help them tell their amazing stories. So began the “The World’s Largest Scrapbook”. It is a compilation of pages created by wish recipients and Make-A-Wish chapters.
“The World’s Largest Scrapbook” was unveiled on January 29, 2007 at the Craft and Hobby Association (CHA) Show in Anaheim, CA during the Building Memories Gala hosted by Scrapbook Adhesives. It was a special night dedicated to the partners, customers, and supporters of the Make-A-Wish Foundation and Scrapbook Adhesives. It was a grand celebration of life and memories and brought tears to everyone’s eyes. Scrapbook Adhesives honored the Make-A-Wish Foundation with a $50,000 donation which included awards for chapters who submitted the most pages. This is an amazing project that took a lot of time and dedication from Scrapbook Adhesives and a lot of spirit and faith from the Make-A-Wish recipients.
