With black ink stamp the goddess onto cardstock nine times. Color in each goddess with colored pencils and then cut them out, leaving a border around the image. Select the goddess you wish to place on the cover and layer it onto black cardstock trimmed slightly larger than the goddess image. Then layer it onto yellow, orange and red cardstocks, trimming each one slightly larger than the layer before. Attach to a 5 x 7 piece of black cardstock and decorate with stars, hearts, and letters punched out of brightly colored cardstock.
Cut four pieces of black cardstock to 7 x 11. On each piece measure and score lines dividing it into two 5 x 7 sections with a 1 section to one side. Fold accordion style along the score lines. Glue all four pieces together by attaching the 1 section of one piece to the 5 section of the next one. Remove the final 1 section.
Glue the decorated cover to a 5 x 7 piece of chipboard. Glue a second 5 x 7 piece of black cardstock to a second piece of chipboard for the back cover. Glue one end of the accordion strip to the inside of the front cover and glue the other end to the inside of the back cover.
Cut eight pieces of black cardstock, 6 x 3 to make the flaps. On each piece, measure and score a line 1 in from one end. Glue each remaining goddess onto a brightly colored piece of cardstock and cut out leaving a slight border and attach one goddess to each of the flaps. Glue one flap onto each section of the accordion, centering it side to side and aligning the top edges.
Cut eight goddess shapes from white paper. A pattern is provided simply adjust the size if needed to fit completely under the flap. On each shape add a photo of a womans head and write something about why that woman is important. Glue the completed goddess shape onto the page, under the flap.
Use paper punches to cut shapes and letters from brightly colored cardstock. Below each flap add a word to describe the woman featured on that page and adorn the page with a few of the shapes. Use a black marker to color the exposed edges of the chipboard.
Celebrate the women who are special to you. Let them know they have made your life better just by being who they are. Another option is to use several photos of the same woman under each flap and give your Wise Woman Book as a one-of-a-kind gift.
