I’ve been a fan of digital scrapbooking since I did my very first digital page in 2005. It was a challenge on a message board, and before I even finished the layout I knew I was hooked. Digital scrapbooking has been around for a while now with tons of sites and stores dedicated to selling digital designs, but it seems that paper manufacturers are now realizing that digital is here to stay and they want a piece of the action! Some have lines designed by digital designers; however, there are paper manufacturers that have started to offer digital versions of their traditional paper lines, including companies such as Glitz Design, and many more manufacturers that are sure to follow.

Even if you don’t do pure digital scrapbooking, digital scrapbook CD’s still offer something to the traditional scrapbooker! The Glitz Designs CD’s in particular interested me. As well as including the digital files, they offered all the items as PDF versions, all included on the one CD. Imagine the printable options! Being able to print out more paper as and when you need it!

Digital is awesome, whether you’re a paper, digital or hybrid scrapbooker as it means more products available, and who doesn’t love that?
