The Holiday are almost upon us and if you’re like me, I’m sure you’re running as fast as you can and still can’t get it all done. A treasured gift would be a scrapbook album, but who has the time?
My daughter, Shayna, is a buyer for our retail store in Draper, Utah. She’s a single mother of two of the most energetic and adorable kids on the face of the earth. They are 2 of my 7 grandchildren, which by the way, are the best things ever! She has been working and taking care of them herself for 2 years and her time is definitely very tight. She started making little mini albums. They are so awesome because they are not overwhelming and you can make one in a day, but beware, they are addicting. Using color copies of photos and laminating them, they are fit for a kid. She includes little pockets and openings to slip little tags and fun things in and out of. She made one for each of her children and they can’t go to bed without first reading their book “All About Me”!
Recently my father passed away and we wanted a treasure to tell his story at the funeral. Shayna lovingly collected bits and pieces of a lifetime and artfully displayed them in a Mini Masterpiece Album by All My Memories. The family was so touched that everyone requested a copy. Because time is the one commodity that we can’t change, we need to use it wisely and do the things that matter most. The point is, if you think you don’t have time to scrapbook take the time to preserve your photo in mini albums. It will truly become a family treasure.
Happy Holidays!
