Instructions for Album Construction:
Cut 12 x 12” sheet of white textured cardstock in half to create (2) 6” x 12” panels. Score each at 6 and fold in half. Place CD holder on top of folded 6” panel with circle slightly overhanging the left edge of paper. This is to attach the two panels to form part of the mini album. (See Diagram provided. Enlarge 250% and align CD base with your Cardstock as shown below).

Use a pencil to trace around the circular base. Hold folded panel tightly as you trim around traced circle with sharp scissors. Repeat this process with the second panel. When both circle patterns are trimmed, open them up and layer one circle from each of the textured sides over top of one another. See diagram below. Without gluing the panels, fold them in a Z fold from left to right and trim excess edges from inside seams (highlighted areas on unfolded diagram).

Instructions for Front Album Cover: Stamp large petal 16 times in Port Wine ink onto white textured Cardstock. Stamp smaller petal 8x in Green Leaf ink. Trim out all petals with scissors and loosely position around front cover in alternating shades as pictured above. Stamp excess Port Wine ink onto acrylic block and use waterbrush to paint a light wash of ink onto half (8) of the large petals. Tip: Squeeze the barrel of the brush to lighten color and create more of a washy effect. It also helps to slightly wet the petal first to blend the color more evenly. On alternate large petals add soft pink accents using the brush side of your pink marker. For smaller petals, stamp savoy green and green leaf ink pads onto a large acrylic block. Blend colors and apply to green petals using waterbrush. Remove all petals from cover and run the glue glider max around the outer edge of circle front cover plus one line across the center. Cut a strip of pink ribbon approx. 9” long and attach approx. 1-1/2” to the right edge of the center of the album. If you wish to have ties on both sides of the album, do the same thing on the left side prior to attaching the petals. Run glue glider over top of the portion of ribbon attached to the front cover. Lightly arrange the large petals around the circle without pressing down. Reposition if necessary and when satisfied, press down to attach them to cover. Next, arrange green petals and attach using two micro adhesive squares starting at the pointy ends and leaving outer edges loose to add dimension. Layer pink flower onto chipboard piece using high tack square. Attach lime button using micro square. Attach chipboard flower to center using glue glider max adhesive.

Instructions for Back Album Cover: Cut second strip of ribbon and attach to the center of the back panel, aligned so it can be tied to the ribbon on the front. (Repeat on other side if you wish it to tie on both sides). Use scallop circle punch to punch out 13 pieces from green double-sided cardstock. Run glue glider around circular edge of back cover. Hold album in hand with cover facing front and all 13 pieces with polka dot side face down. Overlap scalloped circles and adhere around the edges where they will appear between front petals. (This is why holding it up as you attach them to the back, will give you a better view). Cut (12) four inch pieces of kiwi stain ribbon. Run glue glider over the center circle of back cover. Attach loops starting to the left of where the pink ribbon is on the right. Work counter clockwise, securing loops using (2) micro squares for each loop. Continue this until all loops are completed around the circle. Stamp (7) large petals in Port Wine ink and watercolor each using same technique used on the front cover. Attach points using micro squares. Punch 1’ circle of Pink Passion cardstock and attach to floral center using a high tack adhesive square. Layer flower power chipboard element over top using another adhesive square.

Instructions for 2 Inside Front Cover Panels: Select lime, rose and pink buttons from Savannah collection. Arrange in pattern around circle of inside cover. Attach when your pattern in complete using micro adhesive squares. Stamp color-a-swirl stamp using green leaf ink. Watercolor with Savoy Green and Green Leaf inks as done before. Add touches of pink using brush side of marker. Position as shown on left hand panel and attach only the bottom edges using adhesive squares and micro adhesive squares. This will allow you to insert photo or journaling later.

Instructions for 2 Inside Back Cover Panels: Flip album over and carefully open. Clean off stamp, and stamp the color-a-swirl design in Port Wine ink. Watercolor with Port Wine ink and add touches of lime green using brush side of marker. Position, as shown, on inside back cover panel. Again, attach only the bottom edges using adhesive squares and micro adhesive squares. This will allow you to insert a photo or a journaling piece later. Using the lid from your CD packaging to trace a circle onto dotted green cardstock. Trim and mount onto left hand panel. Stamp flower stem from mini bouquet set in Green Leaf ink onto white textured cardstock. Color in with lime and pink markers and trim out using scissors. Attach to left side of panel using micro adhesive squares.
