In the beautiful projects shown here, created by Liz Hicks, the endless possibilities of SCRAPBOOK ADHESIVES BY 3L™ adhesives are showcased. With a loose, free-flowing style, these designs truly highlight not only the strength and function of their adhesives, but some really unique and creative ways to use them.

SCRAPBOOK ADHESIVES BY 3L™ new 6”x12” and 12”x12” Adhesive Sheets are used in unconventional ways to add texture, shimmer, sparkle, and shine where there once was simply a background. Enjoy breaking free from traditional scrapbooking styles, and try telling your story with some new, freestyle looks and techniques. Use the following projects examples for inspiration!

Craft & Photo Tape has been used on all of these projects, as a versatile and strong adhesive to adhere the various textures of the silk flowers, rhinestones, corrugated cardboard, chipboard & textured paper-it holds just about anything! Use long strips of the Craft & Photo Tape to adhere ribbon, cardstock or chipboard or roll it in a ball to adhere silk flowers and leaves, textured paper, and corrugated cardboard to a variety of different mediums, even canvas and wood!

On the corrugated jump-ring album, Liz used the Adhesive Sheets in a very creative way on the corrugated cardboard. This particular technique enhanced its corrugated texture, and the free-form look of the project. Contrary to the full, edge-to-edge coverage you can typically achieve, Liz applied the SCRAPBOOK ADHESIVES BY 3L™ Adhesive Sheets very lightly and loosely on the texture of the cardboard, then covered the area in glitter and flocking producing a crafty, uneven effect.

On the small hanging canvas frame, SCRAPBOOK ADHESIVES BY 3L™ adhesives were used in several unique ways. The Adhesive Sheets were used to adhere the inked transparency to the canvas. This is where the usual application of Adhesive Sheets comes in handy-they keep acrylic clear when you adhere! The blue texture shown in the background is actually the same “loose application” of the Adhesive Sheets as used on the corrugated album combined with turquoise flocking. Again, Craft & Photo Tape was used in long strips and balled up, to adhere the ribbon and the different layers of silk flowers, as well as the rhinestone in the center of the flower.

Another creative technique shown is adding “bling” to our 3D Foam Squares, wherein glitter is applied directly to the 3D Foam Square and it becomes it’s own embellishment. She used this technique in the centers of flowers in both the jump-ring album and the card. Also on Liz’s card, SCRAPBOOK ADHESIVES BY 3L™’s Craft & Photo Tape was applied, then covered with chunky glitter, which achieved a beautiful silver trim. This technique works great with all types of glitters & flocking, for unique and stunning accents!
