1. Measure or trace your album/journal front and back cover onto the patterned paper of your choice and cut out.
2. Using an E-Z Runner®, apply adhesive to the back of your cut out paper. Because the E-Z Runner® dispenses narrow, pre-cut strips of adhesive, you can get right to the edge of your paper, or in the corners. (If you are applying paper to a fibrous chipboard, or fabric or leather album, we recommend using our Craft & Photo Tape for a super strong tack). Now you can apply your paper to your front and back covers. 3. Now, you can embellish however you want!
a. For the baby album, we’ve applied flowers to the album using our 3D Foam Squares and added baby styled baubles to the center of the flowers, again using 3D Foam Squares (in Black or White). To add more personalization, we’ve added a picture of Hayli, our subject of the album. She slightly pops off the page with the use of Small 3D Foam Squares.
b. On the personalized journal, we added a large flower that coordinated with the journals maroon edging and band. We also took a clear acrylic letter and transferred clear adhesive to the back of it using our 4”x6” Adhesive Sheets. You can then add permanent ink on it if you want more contrast as it was done here on the “k.” 4. Enjoy creatively expressing yourself on an album or journal with these simple techniques and SCRAPBOOK ADHESIVES BY 3L™!
