I created these pages to highlight a few of my favorite photos from a recent cruise our family took. Between the 11 of us on the vacation, we managed to take over 500 photos. Instead of trying to create a scrapbook for all of the photos, I chose to create a hybrid photo album to finish the job more quickly. I fell in love with a few of the photos and decided to make scrapbook pages out of them anyway. These were two of them.

My full name is Laina Louise Lamb. My dad thought it was the funniest thing ever when I married a guy with an “L” last name. I am mother to three amazing, energetic boys and wife to a very generous man. I received a degree in Interior Design from the University of Cincinnati in 1992. Out of college I designed retail stores, malls and environmental graphics. The interior design field was very demanding and I decided that in the future I only wanted to design things that can fit on a 12x12 piece of paper. After my kids were born I spent 2 ½ years working at Archiver’s as an instructor and Events Coordinator. My position at the store exposed me to the many techniques and styles that helped shape me into the scrapbooker I am today. I am now employed as a graphic designer for
3 Birds Designs where I get to design and develop my favorite thing – scrapbooking products! You can learn more about me and my work on my blog called
