Thanksgiving is such a special time of year. It is a time when we take a moment to sit back and look at all that we are grateful for. We are all grateful for different things, but I am willing to bet that we all have one thing in common that we are thankful for....our families. Each family is so special and they make our lives so wonderful. Take this time to scrap about a loved one and remember why they are so special. I chose to scrap about one of the most special people in my life...my sister in law. I am so blessed to have a wonderful sister in law. She is such a fabulous mother, wife, and friend. I am thankful that she is in my life and I hope she will always know how much she means to our family.

Heartfelt Thanks is a tribute to my husband, Todd. I took these pictures of him at work a little over a year ago and I wanted to do something special with them. I wanted him to know how much I appreciate all of his hard work on behalf of our family. I purposefully made this layout more graphic because I wanted a masculine feel.

I have just started scrapbooking this year, and wanted to document what I am thankful for at this very moment. I wish I would have done this for every year of my adult life, but hopefully I will remember to do this every year forward. An interesting part of this layout is that I put the dress I was wearing in the photo onto my scanner and scanned the dress pattern, then printed it out for my layout.
