From the moment my son was born at 34 weeks I was completely smitten. It was true love from the beginning and these pictures remind me of the best day of my life...when we first met! I wanted to make this page full of love and happiness and these Fancy Pants papers fit that completely. I used to pictures and put a matt around the one to make it the focal point.

I love both these pictures of my son and my niece who has lived with me for the past 3 years. I thought they looked great together so thought I'd work with them both on the same page. They both have similar color schemes and I cut them down to the same size to look coordinating on the page.

My name is Melissa and I live on beautiful Vancouver Island, BC with my 2 kids, my ornery cat and my slightly neurotic pup. I have been scrapbooking for a little over 9 years now, beginning before my son was born and taking rather a large break between his first year and 2007. To me, scrapbooking is an opportunity not only to preserve my family's memories, but to meet and interact with amazing women from all over the world who share my passion for paper!
I also have been blogging for almost 2 years now and am pretty active. I sometimes through some life out there too, but it's primarily about scrapping. That’s why it's called Scrapz n Stuff.
