This layout came together as a result of three things: When my daughter told me that she was going to name my granddaughter Quinn, the first thought that popped into my head was “Quinn the Eskimo”. This is the title of a song written by Bob Dylan and performed by Manfred Mann back in the late 60’s. I knew immediately that there was a layout with this title in my future. The second thing factoring in the layout was the picture – doesn’t she just look like a little Eskimo girl peeking out of her hood? The final push for the layout came when I saw the irresistible My Minds Eye Colorful Christmas line. The bright colors and adorable die cuts were just perfect, and the layout was born!

This photo of my daughter was taken this past summer. She always has such a pensive look on her face! What on earth could she be thinking so passionately about at such a young age?

When I saw this adorable line from Cosmo Cricket, I knew I had to use it on a layout involving food. I found this picture of my little girl when she was a baby with spaghetti all over her face and I knew it would be perfect! I only bought two pieces of paper and the journaling cards from this line, so I cut and snipped, and then cut some more to really stretch out the product and create the “collage” like effect.
