My paternal grandmother was not known for her gardening skills and truth be told, she didn’t even like flowers that much. The only plants she had in her yard were couple of holly bushes and beautiful and fragrant lilac bush. She had large wooden chairs and my fondest memories are of sitting in the chairs and visiting with her. The beauty of her yard never mattered; it was always the beauty of her soul. What child doesn’t cherish the undivided attention and never-ending love of a grandparent?

In My Grandma’s Garden

I just love these pictures of my friend’s niece at our wedding ceremony. She is just so adorable and sweet, especially since she and her family just flew in from Europe the day before. And I can honest say, that everyone also thought so too, as she was definitely the star of the day. I wanted to capture those wonderful moments and her expressions as all the hype was going on around her.
