We visited my parents for the 4th of July last year, and at the last minute, I tucked this little flag into my suitcase before our trip. On the 4th, I dressed my daughter in her polka dots and let her examine the flag. The result was some great photos and amazing colors – I love the red, white and blue! It's so fun to be on the outside looking in as my little toddler learns and explores. I just knew I’d be able to find the perfect matching polka dot paper, and this layout happens to utilize only 4”x 6” photos to capture the experience.

Creativity is a part of my everyday life. I am a scrapbooker, crafter and preschool teacher. I am also a member of the design team for GlueArts. I live in Illinois with my husband, Adam, my daughter, Lauren (2), and another addition on the way! I look forward to the day when I can make a scrapbook with my daughter, rather than just about her. I have enjoyed designing projects and leading workshops for both local events and at CHA. I can’t imagine a life without this wonderfully fulfilling hobby and all of the opportunities it has brought me! To see more of my work, please visit my blog at: http://lindsaywlayouts.blogspot.com/.
