•  Patterned Paper: Hay Barn, Farm House (Farm Fresh line, October Afternoon), Picking Pumpkins (Weathervane line, October Afternoon), Bus Route (Report Card line, October Afternoon),

•  Machine stitching





 

Instructions: 

1.   Use a piece of Honey Dotted Swiss cardstock as your layout base.

2.   Cut a piece of black cardstock 10Ό” x 10Ό”. Next, cut the Farm House patterned paper 10” x 10” and adhere the patterned paper onto the cardstock.

      Machine stitch across the top and bottom.   Adhere onto your cardstock base.

3.   Cut the Bus Route patterned paper 3 ½” x 12”.

4.   Cut two pieces of the Hay Barn patterned paper; one piece 4” x 1 Ύ” and the second piece 1” x 1 Ύ”, rounding the corners on one side.  On these two pieces print your title as I did my son’s name and age.

5.   From the Picking Pumpkins patterned paper, cut three clouds.

6.   Using  the cardstocks, cut and emboss the film strip and the inverted scalloped circles.  From the scraps of the black cardstock cut out the word “Friend” to use in your title





7.   Arrange on layout the 3 ½” x 12” strip and your 5” x 7” photo and adhere.  Take the 4” x 1 Ύ” piece of patterned paper and before adhering to layout,

      attach the word “Friend”, centering it. Take the 1” x 1 Ύ” piece and adhere just under the 5” x 7” photo at the bottom left-hand side. 

8.   Adhere the clouds and sun toward the top of your layout.





9.   Using six small photos, adhere to the back for your film strips.  Wrap the burlap string around one of the film strips several times and tie on the turtle charm.





10. Embellish with buttons and pearls.
