I love how I have the freedom to interpret the mood behind a photo and then translate it onto the page using my computer and Inspiration electronic cutter. One look at the photo of my grandson’s delight over fireworks and I knew it had to be the only picture on the page. Because the photo was to be the main focus, I knew my design needed to really tell the story. My Inspiration electronic cutter allowed me to create the components for my page exactly the way I envisioned it.

Freedom

Beginner Project

I wanted to have the dimension of an all-over design by using a paper lace overlay. Paper lace is really popular, but can be very expensive in the stores. Fortunately, I can make any kind of paper lace I want with the Inspiration Studio Software. I just choose a shape, multiply it across and down, and add a frame. The WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) feature of the software quickly joins all the parts together to make the lace cutting file. I knew that the blue glitter cardstock I had been keeping for a special page would be perfect.

I knew that a poem would be perfect to evoke the emotion of the occasion. I found a great poem on line and decided I would write it around the border of the page. I don’t really like my own handwriting, but because Pazzles offers Journaling Fonts for my Inspiration, that is not a problem. There are 20 different Journaling Fonts to fit any mood and style. I just type the word in the journaling font of my choice, pop a gel pen in the Pazzles Pen Tool and let the Inspiration write the poem for me.

Both of these pages were created using basically the same method. You can reduce the size of the lace to make a card too. The Inspiration Studio Software makes this project completely customizable.
