I had been trying to master my Nikon D40 camera since I purchased it. One of the things I was told to do is to just keep on taking pictures and that sometimes the best shots are the ones you don’t pose. Have camera will travel is my motto. I was using the sports setting for a softball game when I was able to capture this picture of my youngest daughter, Debby, in the summer of 2009. There was no way I wasn’t going to scrap this awesome picture!

I’m June, from Ohio, grandmother of seven. Although I’ve been scrapping for several years, I still consider myself a beginner. One of the most difficult things for me to do is to scrap outside my comfort zone, which is one of the reasons I joined www.scrapadilly.com. Thanks to the support and inspiration I have gotten from this site, my style of scrapping has definitely improved. I now consider myself a paper snob. I’ve even been lucky enough to meet, in real life, 3 ladies that have become dear friends of mine. Unfortunately I haven’t kept up with my blog. Along with my ramblings, you’ll find layouts, cards, and some great links for using PSE6 (Photoshop Elements 6), which is something else I’m trying to master. Here’s the URL in case you want to check it out. http://croppaperscissors-june.blogspot.com/.
