When is a Title More than a Title? (Part 1)
By: Laura Lou Bashlor
| PART 1 - TITLES FROM PHOTOS |
When we are on vacation it seems that we often pose a photo by a sign that identifies a particular feature of the trip. As scrappers we can take this a step further by using elements of such a photo as the title for our page. |
TITLE FROM A PHOTO
This is from a trip to the Rainforest Café in Michigan.
I knew what I wanted to do with this photo as soon as I saw it. I started by scanning it on my computer and enlarging it, but you could also enlarge the sign on a "Do-It-Yourself" machine, or have your photo printer do it for you.
All I did then was cut out the Café sign carefully and use it as the layout title.

ANOTHER PHOTO TITLE For this title I took a photo of the name on the hotel with my panorama setting.
Then I trimmed the photo to show just the title and put it right at the top of the page.
