MAKING MEMORIES WHOLESALE DIVISION ANNOUNCES SPLIT
Company Streamlines Business with Sale of Memories & More, Inc., Memories® Retail Stores

CENTERVILLE, Utah (July 16, 2002) – Making Memories®, one of the nation’s largest wholesale manufacturers of scrapbooking and craft supplies, has been reorganized as an S-Corporation under the name Making Memories Wholesale, Inc. The changes were formalized following the company’s split from and subsequent sale of parent company Memories & More, Inc. and its Memories retail store division.

Bridgette Server has been appointed as CEO to the newly formed corporation, with Danny Hansen taking the helm as its president.

“I feel like a proud, melancholy parent sending her child off to college,” Server said. “I’m delighted to see each operation able to stand – and thrive – on its own accord. But bidding farewell to Memories stores, where my quest began, is still difficult.”

Making Memories Wholesale, Inc.(DBA: Making Memories®)was created upon the sale of its parent company and retail division to private investors.

“It is our intent to pour our energies into our wholesale clients and their customers,” Server explains. “With a focus on wholesale operations, we will be able to offer more innovative product, deeper selection and faster speed to market.”

Making Memories Wholesale, Inc. and Memories & More, Inc. are expected to formalize their operational split by first quarter 2003.
