Memories of Summer -- Article These projects are for beginning to intermediate crafters. Summer is filled with happy memories of vacations, beach fun, lazy days, and even a few 3-day weekends. These journaling projects will help you preserve those happy memories.
Remembering Dads -- Article These projects are for beginning paper crafters. Father’s Day has been set aside as the day to honor our Dads, but let’s not wait until June to show Dad our respect and gratitude. Any day that Dad is on your mind is the right time to record feelings in your journal. Many times all it takes is coming across a favorite photo to make me want to jot down a few thoughts. You may even want to share your journal page with your parents or siblings.
Important Women -- Article These projects are for beginner level paper crafters. Mother’s Day is a special day for mothers as well as daughters. May is a time to reflect and show our appreciation for all of the special women who have helped us become the women we are today. Mothers, grandmothers, aunts, sisters, girlfriends, teachers, and mentors are all role models who have played an integral part in our lives. A journal is just the place to express your thoughts and highlight some of your favorite photos and mementos.

Itsy Bisty Encouragement Journals -- Article These projects are for beginning and intermediate stampers. My scrapbooking friends asked for advice about what to do with leftover scraps of background paper and stickers. Making small journals for children seemed to be the perfect answer.
Tracking the Wild Turkey -- Article This article contains projects for advance levels of paper crafters. You’re probably saying to yourself, “She’s hunting Thanksgiving dinner.” Not so! Wild turkeys continuously roam our property in Oregon, but this summer four toms, fondly named Darrell, Darrel, Darrel and Darrel, took up permanent residence. They definitely deserved some pages in my daily journal.
Small Journals for Big Recoveries -- Article These projects are for intermediate stampers. Writing down one thoughts and feelings on paper is therapeutic. It can help a person withstand stress when faced with emotionally difficult events or feelings. If you enjoy bookbinding, you can share your talents by making journals and donate them to a women’s center or breast cancer treatment center. (Giving is therapeutic, too!) Women who are facing difficult times may find that your journal has given them strength, not only because someone cares about them but also because writing down their feelings may help them to see things with greater clarity.
