New Year, New Baby -- Article
I once made the mistake of telling an acquaintance that her baby was as cute as a puppy! Anyone who knows me would have realized it was the ultimate compliment. I think puppies are the cutest things on earth. Well, that was before I met the little girl in the New Year, New Baby projects. She has charmed me beyond what I could have ever imagined possible, as if she realized at our first meeting (when she was about a week old) that it was her job to turn me into a bowl of jelly, capable of making ridiculous faces, eager to sit for hours holding her while she naps. I'm this little princess's extra grandmother - she has at least five at last count - an honorary title that allows me to shop for adorable dresses and tiny shoes and illustrated books.
