I LOVE idea books. I have dozens. Every time a new one comes out I try to convince myself that I don't need it. I try denial, "Oh, the lay outs are just ok." Then I notice all the new techniques when flipping through my friend's copy. I try reason, "I've already spent my budget (don't tell DH)." Then I spot a talented new designer who's layouts I MUST study. Then I justify. For this I have any number of things I can tell myself that allows me to buy just one more idea book.
My PK Power Book, by the talented people at Paper Kuts, has more tags than any other book I own. This bubbly summer layout was inspired by Power Team member Alycia Alvarez.

Supplies
 - Cardstock - White, a variety of blues
- Vellum - Emmagination
- Patterned Paper - Stamping Station
- Photo Corners - Unknown
- Letter Stickers - Provo Craft
- Pen - Zig
- Cutters - Fiskars, Creative Memories (circle cutter)
- Adhesive - Zyron, Hermafix
- Circle punches - Carl, Family Treasures

Instructions
- Trim patterned paper and mount onto light blue background cardstock.
- Color the white photo corners with blue Zig markers.
- Mat the photos. Leave the side of one of the mats large enough to add circles.
- Run strips of blue cardstock through the Zyron machine. Punch a variety of circles.
- Peel the backing off of the vellum and mount circles to the sticky side. Let some go over the edge. Trim the parts of the circles that go outside the borders of the journal box. Mount to background paper. Add journaling and title stickers.
